Road Trip! (Bloo, Izzy)

Wrath put on some fresh clothes after a very delightful shower, a slight grin on his face as he he picked up his phone. "Now, then...if we're going on a road trip, who would I want to bring?" He considered Alice, but he remembered that she and Ava had already met. And from what he gathered, it hadn't been a good meeting. He doubted his alternative would be much better, but...at least there wouldn't be that kind of tension.

So without further ado, he dialed the number on his phone addressed to "Silver the Edgehog". It has honestly been a joke the last time, but he hadn't talked to Felix for a bit, so he hadn't thought of changing it until now. "Gotta come up with something funny..." he said to himself absentmindedly as the phone rang on Felix's end.

Felix was leaned back behind the wheel of a car, revving the engine. "So I'm just gonna ask this one more time-" The guy tied up in the backseat was screaming, cutting him off. "I swear I don't know! I swear to god I don't know! Please god, believe me!" Mercury clicked his tongue. "Kay." He shrugged and put the car in drive when his phone started ringing. Fuck.

Felix was leaning around in the front looking for wherever he'd put that thing. Was...was it inbetween the seats? Dammit! He kicked the center console in half and reached down to grab it, pressing the button to answer. "This is Felix~ Please hold~" He slammed his foot down on the gas and started speeding toward the edge of the pier, diving out at the last second and sending it flying into the bay. The guy in the back could be heard screaming for help until he was submerged. Felix smirked and started walking away, finally checking the caller ID. "Oh shit, is it time for anger management classes again?"

Wrath could only chuckle as he heard what Felix was up to. He heard a motor, and the voice of some screaming guy. Was he in a car? He listened as Felix got back on, after hearing a splash. Interesting. Felix finally seemed to register who was calling, and asked if it was time for anger management classes.

He returned his attention to Avarice as she asked him who he would be calling, and hoped it wasn't Alice. "Hm? Oh, no, I don't think she'd like that I'm getting it for you. Calling a guy that might help us and have fun doing it." He put the phone back up to his ear. "Mercury, I feel like maybe your anger stems from a very severe case of daddy issues." It probably did. "Do you want to talk about that?" he asked in the best therapeutic tone he could muster, before laughing.

"I was simply wanting to ask if you'd wanna go on a little road trip with me and a friend. Treasure's involved."

Mercury clicked his tongue as Wrath started to play therapist. He magnetized his legs and started taking a leisurely stroll up the side of the warehouse by the docks. "You know, I think it all stems from when I was 8. My dad was a bit of a drinker, my mom was a hooker snorting blow of the assholes of any of her patrons in my room, it was a tough time for me. So I started stealing from her purse and using the money to buy marijuanas which I then proceeded to inject directly into my eyeballs. The pain was excruciating, but I managed. For Shrek. And I swear to fucking christ if I'm not on speaker and you're not taking notes, I'll cut myself and post about it on Twitter."

He finally quit his gigantic joke that went on way too long and shrugged. "I mean sure. Fuck, I'll see if I can get Ifrit to take over all the contracts while I'm away." He put the phone on speaker so that he could start texting his little amigo. "She's great, by the way. Really getting used to the robot arm. Thanks for asking. He finished the text and didn't wait for a response before he started walking toward the edge of the building on the other side. "By the way, you're driving. My car has some water damage."

He chuckled along with Mercury's joke. It was long and drawn out, but he didn't say anything. Maybe Ava really would hate him. He then mentioned something about an associate of his named Ifrit, and he blinked, quirking a brow, and nodding as Ava said that she would be getting dressed.

"Who the hell is Ifrit?" he asked, perplexed. Then Mercury mentioned something of water damage to his car. "What, me drive? Damn, and for a second I thought we might let you try again," he joked. "Glad to see you're in. Where should we pick you up?"

Merc reached the top of the warehouse and looked out over the city. "Ifrit? Ya know, tiny little thing. Opens portals to another dimension to teleport? Smokescreens? Ifrit? Yeah you remember Ifrit." He hopped off the side and landed feet first without an issue. Not that massive of a fall. "How about you meet me over by the market district or something? It's close by, I can pick up some snacks and maybe some guns, and then we can get a move on."

He blinked and looked back at Ava as she came in. "Yeah, I really don't. But I'm sure I'll meet them soon. Anyways, we're on our way."

He hung up, and nodded to Ava. "I'm just gonna bring all of them." He started walking with her out the door, and then to his car. He got in the driver side door and then opened the passenger side door for her. Best that Mercury stay away from anything to do with the controls. "You might not like him. But he'll help."

Once the others had finally gotten to the market district, Mercury was pretty easy to pick out. He was standing on the street corner with a relatively bored expression and holding a duffle bag. "'Bout time you showed u-" He blinked when he saw Avarice in the front seat. Damn, not bad. "Oh I see, I get bitch seat. Fine then."

He chuckled and hopped into the back seat, laying across it. "Jokes on you, I like having room to stretch my legs." He put his bag on the floor and crossed his legs, throwing his arms back behind his head. "So where we going? Pentagon? Area 51? Disney World?" To this day, Disney World was the one place to thwart his infiltration attempt...he'd even tried dressing as a hotdog! It was fucking fool proof! Kyte was even a bottle of ketchup!

He smiled wryly when Mercury entered the car, complaining about his seat. "Only the bitchiest seat for the bitchiest person." A joke, obviously, or not, who knew? He looked back at Mercury while he drove, and then Avarice handed him the floor. He chuckled.

"Well, we're going to the Middle East, if I remember right. So prepare for sand. Lots of it." He started driving them to a nearby airport. "So, Mercury, this is Avarice. One of my counterparts. She appreciates the finer things in life. Ava, this is Mercury, g- well I guess legs for hire. Anything more you can ask each other."
